Our physical appearance is a direct reflection of our internal health. Since the way we diet affects our internal systems, we take a health-first approach with our nutrition coaching. This ensures long term sustainability and reduces the risk of the post diet rebound that many dieters are all too familiar with. We have multiple coaches at Mind Body Physio that specialize in different areas and offer a variety of programs depending on where you are at in your health/fitness journey. Kaitlyn, our Integrative Health Practitioner works with clients who have underlying health conditions that need to be addressed prior to focusing on physique changes (autoimmune, metabolic resistance, gut dysbiosis, adrenal fatigue, hormonal imbalances, etc). Ethan, Robert, and Melanie work with clients who are in a healthy place to emphasize physical transformations such a fat loss, building muscle, performance, etc. You can read more about our coaches below to learn about their backgrounds and specialities.
Mind Body Physio offers online coaching so that anyone in the world can have access to health coaching. Our coaches will create an individualized nutrition plan, supplement protocol, training program (coach dependent), and cardio protocol for you based upon your history, goals, and any underlying imbalances you are experiencing. This may also include toxin removal recommendations and stress reduction techniques in addition to your personalized health plan to optimize health and physique results.
Clients check in weekly with a tracker, biofeedback document, and pictures so that our coaches can make weekly adjustments to each client's plan and address feedback. Clients have 24/7 access to email their coach if questions arise outside of check ins. Our coaches take pride in their ability to service their clients and will always respond to emails within 24 hours.
Clients have the option to have voice memo or Zoom video check ins each week depending on their coach and which package works best for their needs. All of our coaches monitor gut health, hormones, thyroid function, stress, and other important biofeedback on a weekly basis. We practice "health first" coaching and our priority is to help our clients meet their goals while maintaining optimal health. Education is extremely important to all Mind Body Physio coaches. Clients are educated each week at their check ins so that they can learn throughout the process and have the tools they need to continue their health journey on their own after coaching and maintain their results.
Online coaching and weekly check ins are not for everyone. If you just need someone to help get you started or lead you in the right direction then this is a great option. Consultations will be focused on your specific needs. Examples include nutritional concepts, sample meal plans, current dietary analysis, phyique goals, current barriers, hormonal imbalances, environmetal modifications, insulin resistance/Diabetes management, inflammation/chronic pain management, etc. You can schedule consults as needed or at regular intervals. Single consults are done through Zoom and include a write up summary of recommendations discussed in the consult.
Semaglutide has been growing in popularity and has a lot of promise as a fat loss peptide. Robert specializes in physique based nutrition coaching and personal training/body transformation. Robert’s fitness journey and passion for helping others reach their goals began in high school. When he wasn’t hitting the books, he was hitting the field. He competed in various sports including track and field, football, and powerlifting. He realized he loved training, competing, and learning about how to optimize the human body’s potential. Along with this, he began to explore methods to better manage the side effects of his autoimmune disease, Hashimoto’s. It was then that he really began to dive deeper into the effects of nutrition and how it plays a role in bodily inflammation and performance. He learned how to optimize his thyroid and metabolic function through nutrition, exercise, and lifestyle modifications. This process led him to competitive bodybuilding which soon became a great passion that continued to improve his understanding of the body. During preparation for his first competition he switched from a Nursing to a Kinesiology major at Morehead State University. He became a personal trainer and earned a scholarship as a student athletic trainer. With these new opportunities to learn, work with others, and exercise a multitude of hands-on skills, the vision was clear that he loved helping others to have a better quality of life. He now works with clients on optimal recovery techniques, sport specific coaching, general health, and weight loss and physique transformations.
